Infinity Farm
Baco, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines
Fresh and chilled water from the famous mount Halcon. This is what will greet you in this famous so called Infinity Farm. It is one of the fresh water fall type resort here in Oriental Mindoro. But compared to others Infinity Farm leveled up their resort. They had invested in good Architecture and Landscape, with its own cafeteria, and very nice toilets. Of Couse with these upgrades it also comes with a premium entrance fee.
Tucked on the foothills of Baco, Oriental Mindoro’s Mt. Halcon is Mangangan River. It is hidden in a thick foliage of wild plants & canopied by lush leaves from billowing trees and bamboos. Its sparkling water riots through the huge boulders that punctuate its craggy riverbed and flows downstream to infinity.
Getting there
Amazingly getting there is not too difficult, and not bumpy as all the roads leading to are all concreted. And there is no need of waze or google maps as there are a lot of signs that will lead you to the resort. From Calapan downtown it is a good 30-45mins travel, this excludes any stop over you might take for purchasing fruits & vegetables along the way, and this excludes any stop over you might take for selfies of the wonderful natural landscapes you might encounter along the road. However, should you make your journey worthwhile consider availing a local travel agency like us, which knows the local trades and secrets of this province.
Amenities
With its upgrades expect quality amenities for instance is its toilets & shower, very clean and well design. With appropriate space and well finished, and incorporating natural light into the toilet and showers, which provides good lighting. In addition adjacent to the toilets and shower there are lockers, to secure your valuable belongings. Moving on to their upgrades is providing their own cafeteria, there are row of food stalls to choose from. However, since the farm has their own food stalls inside, the management does not allow food carried by guests from outside. In other words if you want to bring your own food, well you’ll be eating it outside of the vicinity. To enjoy your food bought from the resort fixed tables are available inside. Those tables are good for 6pax. Table locations could be classified as general public and semi-private. For instance general public tables are close to the entrance and in downstream. And semi-private tables are located upstream. Therefore guest have the will have their privacy options. Parking are available before the fruit round about.
Best time
The best time visiting the resort is early morning. Getting there at 8am will allow you to select the best area, and enjoy the pools by yourself. Best day to visit is during weekdays, weekends can get crowded very quick especially if it is a holiday. But so far we haven’t experienced a jam packed resort, there is always extra room for others. Best season to visit is at summer, to battle the hot summer weather. I am not sure if it is opened during rainy season, as the water level might get high due to the high volume of water from the mount Halcon.
Conclusion
If you want to momentarily escape the buzzling atmosphere of the city, then definitely visit a place like this. Approaching the resort relaxing rice field landscapes will greet you. And if you’re deep and close to the resort thick forest is waiting for you providing the ultimate fresh air to breath. And you’ll know that you’re in the resort when you hear the relaxing sound of the waters. Nothing compares to nature, the most peaceful and relaxing place. Dipping into the fresh and cold water, hearing the relaxing sound of waterfall and breeze, and breathing the fresh air. These will definitely give you an unwinding moment that will refresh you and energize you for the life ahead.
