Mayada was born from a life long passion of fashion, the arts, and the Islamic faith.
Her biggest challenge was when she converted to Islam, was finding clothes that were modest and fashionable. After many years of contemplating the idea of designing her own modest clothes, and the endless frustration with trying to find modest clothes, only to find poor quality options or outdated styles, she finally realized it was her mission to cater to this void and had to see it through.
“Mayada” means to walk proudly. She wants every woman to walk proudly with modesty. Mayada represents the hope for everyone seeking modest clothing to find a brand that represents them in mainstream fashion, that suites their faith. Mayada is that brand.
They design each garment with you in mind. All of their garments cater to those who are tired of the mainstream options, and want a brand that represents them.
Her hope is that Mayada will grow to be a leading global modest fashion brand that stands for modesty, social justice, and philanthropy.
