Coralwave Idols was formed through the mutual love for cosplay, performance, and idol groups. Inspired by the anime Love Live, we came together to create a all girl idol group, were we can cosplay, dance and share our love for what we do with all the people in the world.
The name Coralwave came from the influence of the place where we all live in, Dubai, and the mass sea that surrounds the UAE, including the themes of ocean and water. We took this inspirational from the second Love Live anime called “Love Live Sunshine,” where the girls found their group name as they are based by the sea.
