Who doesn’t want a peaceful and relaxing island stay? Where you feel that the island only belongs to you, and it’s quiet and peaceful throughout the day & night. Where you can be truly one with nature and have a relaxing and peaceful vacation.
This is exactly what I felt staying at Tambaron island. Tambaron island belongs to the group of Mindoro island, it is at the very southern tip of Oriental Mindoro, province of Bulalacao. The island is not small, like what you would you imagine, it has its reasonable size, & with a reasonable size hill. Tambaron Green beach resort at the moment there is only one resort to be found in the island, located at one of the coves southwest of the island. Accommodations available are Family rooms, Dormitory quarters and Beachfront Cottages
Amenities
The island isn’t fully developed yet, do not expect full amenities or services like usual tourist destinations can offer. Water supply is limited, there will be times that water isn’t available. Wifi isn’t available as well, I think sometimes mobile service will be difficult. Rooms do not have TV, there are no bars or restaurant. Food is on a set time, staff will ask you in advance what will you want for your breakfast, lunch, & dinner and they will head to the town market out of the island to purchase the raw foods, then prepare it in the island, & will be served freshly cooked.
Conclusion
Moreover, the island is truly peaceful, but it is not boring there are a lot of activities that can be done such as; island hopping, kayaking, snorkeling, and there is also a simple half basketball court and volleyball court.
Staying there is truly a vacation you want. Out of the buzzing noise of a city, enjoying the fresh breeze of the sea and trees, listening to the relaxing music of waves, and birds chirping. You can even gaze at the stars at night, just ensure to have your mosquito repellants on.
